A new brand of contacts called MaxiSight from Nike claims to offer improved performance over standard contacts in outdoor daylight conditions. Marketed mainly at sportsmen such as tennis and baseball players who need to keep their eyes on fast moving objects against a bright background, I'm sure many would wear it just for how intimidating it looks.
