Basic Theory

Went for my basic theory test today. I was supposed to answer 50 multiple choice questions, and some of the options given were damn hilarious.

Q. What does this sign represent?

1. Watch out for fences by the side of the road

2. Watch out for a gated railway crossing ahead

3. Watch out for Army rocket launchers ahead

You've got to be kidding me.


Q. You are making a left turn and there are pedestrians crossing the road. Do you

1. Stop and let them cross?

3. Speed up before they obstruct your way?

3. Horn at them to make them cross faster?


Q. You see a motorcyclist flashing his right turn signal and turning his head to the right.

1. He is turning his head so as to balance better when turning right

2. He is checking whether his signal light is working

3. He is checking his blind spot.


Whoever set the test sure has a sense of humour.
