Presumably the army went through the trouble of staging a coup so that they can replace Thaksin with someone better and make him answer for his supposedly numerous wrong doings. Then why on earth did they do so when the guy is not even in the country?
Now they are not going to be able to ever catch and punish him or whatever. Furthurmore, he could represent a very significant to the incoming government if he so chooses. Guess Thailand is going to be in some for rough times for the next few weeks at least...
